The biggest raises I've gotten have been from leaving companies altogether, promotions too. Promotions too. Never been promoted at work because always had to wait for boomers to retire or leave which they still won't. Best raises come from leaving. And always, always, always LIE about your current salary. Increase it by 25%+ and the offering company will beat that 25% by around 10-25% more percent. So you're essentially looking at a 35-50% raise from switching companies. Voila. Solved that for ya.
