Singles events are the WORST!!!!! Anytime I've ever been, it's been bottom of the barrel people, and I live in NYC. There's way too much competition at these things.

Dating apps are so much better than all these points because you are guaranteed to meet someone who is actually looking rather than bothering someone in the supermarket or worse yet, at work, which can land you in a heap of trouble.
